Free Resume Tips for the Canadian Job Market
Here are some free resume tips to help you get started with creating a good resume.
Keep the formatting of your resume simple, as most resumes now get scanned.
So avoid the following document formatting:
- italics
- underlining
- too much bold text
- large or fancy fonts, and
- fancy typeface
Use the K-I-S-S formula: "Keep It Simple, Silly!"
Length of Your Resume
Keep your resume as concise as possible in addressing all the issues called for in the job ad.
The popular length appears to be two pages, but this may vary according to the profession you are in, or the length of the job advertisement.
More Resume Tips
